Schauessen Sausage 500gm

A smoked pork sausage mixed with bacon chips and geared towards a Japanese styled taste. The skin gives it a unique snap when you bite into it. Used for mainly hotdogs.

The Schauessen Sausage 500gm taste moderately salty and slightly sweet. It also contains some bacon bits which gives it a light bacon flavour. It is smoked for at least 20 minutes. The skin is crunchy and due to the natural smoking process, the casing will sometimes have uneven colour which is nothing to worry about.

To prepare the meat for cooking, remember to let it thaw completely. For chilled products, place the product in its original package on a plate in room temperature for 30 minutes. For frozen products, place the product on a plate in the fridge overnight (12-24 hours). To check if the product is ready for cooking, touch it to feel. If the meat is not hard to touch or is easily bendable like fresh meat, it will be ready for cooking.
