What makes Taiwan Sausage different from other sausages is its iconic red colour and sweet taste. Due to the bigger chunks of meat compared to other sausages, you get a chewier mouthfeel when eating it. Besides, the additional fat in the sausage makes it a juicy feast to indulge in.
For the month of February, we want to celebrate this festive season of Chinese New Year with some authentic Taiwan Sausages. Available here are 4 different flavours with 2 different sizes (regular and cocktail).
The 4 flavours are:
* Original
* Garlic
* Chilli
* Black Pepper
These sausages do well in low heat slow frying. Do not try to fry them in high temperature as the sugar content in the sausages will begin caramelising, creating bubbles. This will eventually tear the casing.
Instead, defrost them well and make sure they are completely thawed. Usually transferring them from the freezer to the fridge the night before would do the trick. If you need it urgently, you can put them in a pot of water for 1 – 2 hours without removing the packaging.
Then, add some oil in your frying pan and add in the sausages. Turn the sausages constantly to avoid burning. Spend 7-10 minutes on the frying and it will be ready to serve.
The sausages go well with noodles and rice or even bread! The combination is endless as it is up to your imagination.
Now with 10% OFF all of the varieties and flavours, there’s no better time to get some and share with your family and friends!
