It’s finally the end of the year 2020 which means Christmas is just around the corner! There’s no doubt that this year has been a wild one for most of us. We hope we can end this year with something wholesome to bring everyone closer in difficult times like this.
There’s nothing that brings people closer than a good, comforting, warm meal. We believe that food is the ultimate peacemaker in any conflict you can encounter! This Christmas, we are excited to showcase some of the essentials that you can get for your family.
The most common dish that families prepare for their Christmas dinner would definitely be Turkey. Solisege supply yummy delicious turkey with stuffing to hundreds of families each year and this year is no different. Perhaps the biggest difference is the brand-new Christmas Stuffing and a totally new gift box! Simply pop the Turkey and Stuffing into the oven at 150℃ for 60 minutes and 25 minutes respectively. Serve with creamy brown sauce for a completely satisfying experience!
If Turkey is not your cup of tea, then you might be interested in our ham here. The whole number hams are hard to come by in the local market but here at Solisege you may choose the one that suits you best. We recommend Honey Baked Ham, English Roasted Ham, and Cooked Boneless Gammon Ham if you do not plan to spend too much time preparing it. It’s already been cooked and all you have to do is heat it up and decorate with garnish.
Bacon Ham is a wonder addition if you have some bread and fruit jam or cheese to go with it. It’s already cooked so you can just cut some slices and assemble your open faced sandwich!
Now, if you have some time on hand or are feeling a little adventurous during the holidays, you may order the Smoked Raw Boneless Gammon which you can add your own glaze of any flavour! Here’s a recipe video we have prepared to give you some ideas to start with!
Yes, we tasted that ham after cooking it. It’s really juicy and goes well with fruits like grapes and pineapple slices! The real trick here is to make sure you cook it at a relatively low-temperature 150℃ for 2 hours instead of 180℃ for 1 hour. It’s the slow cooking that keeps the moisture in which translates to the mouth-watering tender meat.
Enough of me talking, are you ready to explore what more we have to offer?
